Concert on Friday September 8 @ Helsinki Music Centre at 7 pm

The idea of the concert: Pip Eastop and Susanne Kujala, virtuosos of their instuments, perform completely spontaneous music with a wonderful musical combatibility between them. They met the first time during a concert at Brass @ Sibelius Academy Festival in June 2016. They dicided right away to get together again and to make a live recording using the french horn, natural horn and the three magnificent organs of the Organo Hall.

Susanne Kujala's solo CD Organ Triptychon features three magnificent organs of Helsinki, three of her favorite composers and the brilliant three movement work Triptychos by Veli Kujala. Two significant works on the theme B-A-C-H by Franz Liszt and Max Reger honor the grand old master Johann Sebastian Bach. Azul by Veli Kujala is one of the most regularly performed composition of Finnish contemporary organ music.
